"With the great pleasure we share our gladness of acquaintance to the present, greater and thick album which was recently let out by the young publishing house "Art-city".
In the book-album there are works of two dozens Russian photographers among who are also first size stars are published. Among authors there are - Vladimir Arhipov, Serzh Golovach, Dmitry Donskoj, Alexander Kitaev, Evgenie Mohorev, Alexander Shahabalov and many others. Each of authors-photographers had given about himself a brief information and contact data.
Certainly, the majority of works are black-and-white. As well as it is necessary to the serious edition, on dense matte melon paper even b/w-work are printed in four paints - and, as experts in this question, we submit that the quality of a press has top-level. The foreword to an album was written by Valery Savchuk - the professor of philosophical faculty of St.Petersburg State University.
An album is not cheap, especially to our Russian measures. However the edition costs the money - contemplation of naked body beauty embodied by different authors in different styles and different techniques, brings with what not compared pleasure.
Not all authors seem organically entered in a flesh and blood of an album, but! But it is necessary to consider, that it is the similar edition first for our memories in Russia. We do not doubt, that it will be followed also by others, but "NUDE" with its ambiguous subtitle (if to be absolutely exact - that "overtitel") " the New Russian photo " - for ever remains to stay first"
